With only 16 points separating the top 5 in the City Chevrolet Weekly Points standings, Michael Brown was able to extend his lead to 6 points over 2nd place Trent Ivey. ďWe are just trying to stay consistent. Itís going to take top 5ís and wins to get that money at the end of the year. As long as we continue to put ourselves in a good position each week, we like our chances. I canít thank Travis Blackwell enough for the chance to drive in his equipment, this car is strong, and I think we have a shot to win every time we hit the track, but we just need to take it one week at a time, and let the chips fall where they mayĒ stated current points leader Michael Brown.
