SECA/Modoc Speedway

The management of SECA and Modoc Speedway has made a mutual decision to not utilize SECA sanctioning with Modoc Speedway for the remainder of 2013 season.

“ It’s never good when something like this happens. However, we feel that we must up hold our rules and continue to stand by them, that’s what the members of SECA have come to expect and that is something we have tried to build around. Lenny Hobbs, JB Harris and Mr. Cushman have big plans for the speedway next season and we look forward to being able to sit down and get all the bugs worked out to continue the relationship between SECA and Modoc going forward in 2014.” Said Timmy Mcabee SECA co-owner

“Right now we are just getting back in the game, and we love what SECA is bringing to the table. We just need to get our feet under us here and see what we need to do in order to make Modoc a successful venue. Right now we have teams in our area that certain rules packages are not in line with. We knew this coming in to this venture and we will work on this feverishly in the future, and get something in concrete going forward.” Stated Lenny Hobbs promoter Modoc Speedway

SECA drivers will only score valuable City Chevrolet Weekly Points this weekend at Cherokee Speedway and Laurens County Speedway.

July 6th will be the 3rd and final bonus points race at Laurens County Speedway.
