SECA Update For July

Rain Wins (So far)

Rain has been the only winner in racing action so far this July. The SECA City Chevrolet Weekly Bonus points event at Laurens was the biggest washout, as a great field was expected for this event. "We always want to race, when mother nature steps in, there is not much we can do. We were anticipating cars from all over, and the phone never stopped ringing about this race. We hope we can find another date that will support this race." Stated Dennis Nabors, promoter of Laurens County Speedway

Hopefully the weather will take a few days off this week as SECA action will take place on two nights at three tracks this weekend.

Cleveland County Speedway (Friday)
Laurens County Speedway (Saturday)
Cherokee Speedway ( Saturday)

Additional bonus money is being offered this weekend for drivers by Cleveland County Speedway and Cherokee Speedway:

1: Any driver that wins CCS and Cherokee will receive a $300 bonus.

2: Any driver with a top 5 finish at CCS and wins at Cherokee will receive a $150 bonus.

3: Any driver with a top 10 finish at CCS and wins at Cherokee will receive a $75 bonus.
