Parton Takes 4th Win Of 2013

Furman Parton made it clear Friday night, the City Chevrolet Weekly Championship is not going to be easy to win this season. After qualifying just one hundredth of a second ahead of Steve Hendren he would go on to win the SECA main event at Cleveland County Speedway. Dillon Brown would secure his best finish in SECA City Chevrolet Weekly finish, as he tried to chase down the 6p of Parton in the closing laps. Duncan S.C driver Greg Knight would finish third ahead of Doyle King and Steve Banal rounded out the top 5.

With top 3 finishes both Parton and Knight jumped into the top 10 in SECA City Chevrolet Weekly Championship standings.

While the rains took away all action on Saturday night. The forecast for this coming week looks very promising for two nights of action with 4 tracks for drivers to secure points and only a 10% chance of rain each day.
