Bonus Race # 3 To Headline Three Race SECA Weekend

Labor Day weekend could be the deciding factor in The 2013 SECA City Chevrolet Weekly Points Championship. Laurens County Speedway will host the 3rd Bonus Race on Saturday night. Drivers in attendance will receive 10 additional bonus points toward their season ending totals.

The points are extremely tight and they seem to get tighter after each week. We have just four weeks of points racing left, and there are three drivers that are only 4 points apart. The kicker is there are several other drivers around the top 5 that are not yet kicking low finishes out, so this race is going to get tighter with more drivers moving up and having a shot at the $7,500 top prize.

Adam Yarbrough has been one of the drivers steady climbing into contention after winning 4 of the last 5 events he has entered. Furman Parton has collected 3 wins out of the last 5. Joey Phillips and Nick Deitz have both collected a win each during this same time period this along with Michael Browns early success, only time will tell if one or more of these drivers can take the top spot away from Trent Ivey.
