RockAuto.com March To Charlotte

With over $50,000 up for grabs in the first quarter of the season, the “RockAuto.com March To Charlotte” will kick off the 2015 SECA season in blockbuster fashion.

Cherokee, Carolina and Friendship Speedway’s all will host their respective bonus races during the month of March. Each track has it’s own identity, and characteristics. Friendship was just reconfigured before 2014 and produced extremely tight racing around the newly formed high banks. Cherokee Is always fast, and after success with new clay last season, the guys decided to do it again while making slight changes to the banking. Carolina Speedway will be the biggest mystery, as the widening project along with the new clay is now complete and it will be a fresh start for the drivers there.

These three races will lead us into the month of May and the 4th& 5th bonus races which will be at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on May 22nd and a short trip to the Scott Childress promoted Harris Speedway on the 24th.

Feb 28 & March 1 at Cherokee Speedway in conjunction with one of the speedways marque events. (March Madness) The SECA portion will pay $2,500 to win.

March 6 & 7 at Carolina Speedway as part of the fan favorite Skyler Trull Memorial. The SECA portion will pay $3,000 to the winner.

March 28 the guys will finish up March with a $2,000 to win event at Friendship Speedway as part of the North Carolina Modified Nationals Weekend. (Friendship will also host a $1,000 to win weekly race on Friday night March 27th.)

May 22nd SECA will make their first appearance to the Dirt Track at Charlotte for the 4th Bonus race of the season. This event will be a $2,000 event.

May 24th Harris Speedway will once again close out Memorial Day weekend with the 5th bonus race also paying $2,000 to win.

There are other bonus races throughout the season, including Hartwell, Sumter and Lancaster Speedway . Those official dates will be released soon.
